An old stone jar. Looks to be quite old. Can see no makers name stamped into it. It is likely about 3 quarts, or 6 pints or 3/4 of a gallon, or approx 3 - 3.5 litres. Has a minor chips on the rim, but quite liveable I think. There is minor chipping on the base as is quite usual, the biggest one looks like it was done when it was made as there looks to be glaze over where the chip is. I think it is quite tidy and nice. (not an expert or grader etc so am selling as is, but I think it is quite a nice and a clean and straight piece.) Measures approx 245mm high x 160mm wide at the base. The inside opening at the rim is approx 80mm. Would make a nice display piece, or have dried flowers or such in it. Thanks. refN16408199A
