Fabulous - a four coin 1904 Maundy set with the coins still brilliant (apart from the penny which has a patch of dark natural toning on the obverse which doesn't show up in the photos). These sets are typically nice but not outstanding but that goes out the window with this one - it's spectacular (you can return it within 7 days for a full refund if not as described). It also has an original 1904 dated Maundy case in nice condition - the blue velvet lining shows of the coins beautifully (most sets are uncased).

This would make a marvellous gift for the history buff, or keep it for yourself. I don't think I've seen a better one in 35 years of dealing in coins.

If you're not familiar with the Maundy ceremony - google it, it's very interesting and still takes place each year. The coins are issued in very limited numbers.
