Catholic rosary prayer beads made with blue sodalite gemstone beads and gold pewter medal and crucifix. This is a full-size rosary with 8mm and 10mm round beads which would be a good choice for a man's rosary.

The 5 decades of Hail Mary beads are 8mm round sodalite, a naturally occuring blue stone which shows many shades of blue in each bead. The Our Father beads are 10mm round and are finished with small gold end caps and wire-wrapped for extra strength - and to give the rosary that unique handmade appearance.

The crucifix is known as a Eucharist cross. On the front is reads "O Crux Ave, Nobus Miserere". On the back is a radiant chalice & host, The Alpha & Omega symbols, 5 roses for the 5 Wounds & the Sacred & Immaculate Hearts. The center medal shows Our Lady of Sorrows with the Sacred Heart on the obverse side. Both are cast in pewter then gold-plated. The cross has been lightly oxidized to bring out the details.

This is a well-made, sturdy rosary which will last for many years of prayer. All the beads are individually linked by hand so the rosary drapes well in use.
