The following auction is for a beautiful made trio of Buddhist statues representing Buddha Sakyamuni and Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy.

The following auction is for two statues (Guanyin) that represent the bodhisattva of compassion and one statue (Sakyamuni) which is a representation of Siddhartha Gautama.

Make Period: C. 19th Century (1820's - 1870's)

Metal: Bronze

Form: Mould Cast

Statues: Three (3) Including: Guanyin holding a willow branch, Guanyin holding a vase of Amrita (The dew of immortality), and Buddha Sakyamuni.

Maker's Mark/Time Period Mark: C. 19th Century Xuande Emperor (C. 1425 - C. 1435 - Ming Dynasty) Production Mark.

Mark Information: The mark stamped on the bottom of ALL THREE Statues is a representation of HONOR. These statues are from the 19th CENTURY and NOT the 15th Century. The Xuande Emperor mark is merely a mark used in honor of his reign centuries before.

Measurements of All Statues: Height - 21.1 cm Width - 7.1 cm Depth - 3.4 cm Base Diameter - 6.0 cm

Conditions: Very Good - Fine (All the statues need a good brush/polish. No fingers are missing, items are not scratched or damaged).
