1930's oak extension table. Originally it would have had a crank and handle to extend the table, but this mechanism was not on it when we bought it. There are heat marks on it. We bought it in 1980 and had it French polished and it has been part of our family ever since. I am selling it as we are downsizing. In 1980 I purchased 3 matching chairs and had a forth one made, alongside 2 carvers, to complete the set. These were made by local craftsman John Mayhew. Extended size is 1800 x 1100 wide. Non extended is still an oval but 1400x 1100.
