Huge brass curtain rod complete with two identical brass finials. This would date from the 1870s when my grandfather had a shop selling window furnishings.

The curtain rod is very long - 257 cm long which includes both finials. The circumference of the rod is 12 cm. It is heavy and solid but not solid brass.

We were going to use this in the refurbishment of our 1866 cottage but then decided it was simply a bit too grand and would probably suit a villa with a high stud.

It is too long to post but we are quite happy to remove the finials and pack them well and post to ensure they arrive safely and quite happy to drop off the brass rod at a local branch of any courier.

When we sold a pair of finials identical to these some time ago they went for in excess of $250 so this could be a bargain for someone.

We need the space in our garage and really want them to go to somewhere where they will be used and appreciated.
