This grand hall stand needs a new home, after the earthquakes have forced us into a smaller house.

We believe it is made of Rimu and is in very good condition for a piece of this age, with only minor marks and scratches and has no borer.

The measurements are
Height - 225cm
Width - 108cm
Depth - 49cm

As can be seen the stand has intricate carving in many places, along with beautifully crafted ceramic tiles with flower designs. The mirror is bevelled.

It is in original condition except for the umbrella metal bases which have been replaced. Prior to us buying it some 25 years ago, some repair work was carried out on the top centre carving and a different wood was used for a small part of that.

The key drawer does not open, being a false front.

The new owner will need to arrange transport from Merivale, Christchurch.
