Traditional Hydra Bacon company Kauri Butchery Block. Currently still in use but being phased out after nearly one hundred years of traditional butchery, due to the vegan council inspectors saying no more! The blocks are scraped back daily and are mounted on a Galvanised steel frame. There are 3 in total and are being sold individually. This is block one 1150mm at its widest point, 940mm at narrow point, 150mm deep (approx) 300mm ruler is in the picture.
