Up for auction is this elegant vintage necklace. The single string necklace is beautifully made and has a very nice substantial weight. It consists of one row with many sparkling faceted peridot green glass beads and gold tone beads. The largest green beads measure 15 mm across and the metal fastening is gold tone.

Condition: very good vintage condition as pictured, with a very firm magnetic clasp

Age: The beads are from the 1960s, the restringing is newer

Dimensions: 46 cm long

Signed/Marked: none

Material: The fastening is made of metal and the peridot green beads of glass. Unfortunately I don't know what the gold tone beads are made of.

The jewellery I am offering comes from my own collection (most of it is from my numerous trips to New York in the 1980s and 1990s - still remember them fondly! :-), my mother's second-hand shop (which was located in Zurich and she ran it for about 20 years) and several Gisborne women who used to travel the world between the 1940s to 1980s.
