Antique Art Deco Cultured Sea Pearl Necklace with Platinum, Set Clasp, in Very Good Condition

This classic and timeless antique pearl necklace dates from around c1920s and comprises of slightly graduated genuine, lustrous, cultured sea pearls. The necklace is set with a hallmarked platinum and 9ct white gold clasp which is centred with a sparkly, genuine, diamond. Weight Approximately 8.6 grams

Dimensions The necklace measures approximately 16 and a half inches in length. The pearls vary between 2.5mm - 6mm diameter...quite dainty/fine not a large pearl necklace, the necklace sits about the nap of the neck perfect for everyday!

Hallmarks The reverse of the clasp is stamped '9CT' and 'PLAT' for 9ct gold and platinum

Gems genuine cultured sea pearls, 1 x Small accent diamond (Diamond has been tested) Pearls are gritty to the teeth and are round in shape.

Condition This antique pearl necklace is around 100 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age and general wear. Unsure what the wire metal is on each side of the clasp.
