Almost more of a SWORD than a knife this sucker has a 267 mm long blade which is reasonably SHARP throughout it's length with some minor discolouration toward point no doubt caused by being used for it's intended purpose

Overall length = 387 mm

Solid staghorn handle with ornate metal bands either end very much like my Granny's old caring knife but obviously DOUBLE EDGED for a very different purpose than slicing the Sunday roast :-)

Reasonably plain but sturdy Brass cross-guard

Devoid of any markings whatsoever so my own best GUESS is that it a German Hunting Dagger
