GULF MEDAL GROUP TO "CIVILIAN"

Gulf War Medal group comprising the Gulf Medal, The UN Medal for Emergency Force 2 ( Egypt 1973-79) , UN Medal for Observers to Iraq/Kuwait, Saudi Liberation of Kuwait Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (2nd Class -not the common 4th Class one), Saudi Government medal issued to civilians, dignitaries and government employees.

The Gulf Medal is named MR P S JACKSON BAE. The recipient was a member of British Aerospace based at Dahran. There were about 1500 medals to civilians such as him.

The other medals are all un-named as issued so there is no way to determine whether he is entitled to them or whether they have been added. Certainly as a recipient of the Gulf Medal he would be entitled to the Saudi star for the Liberation of Kuwait (this is a flatter US made variety -the ones issues were too bulky for mounting), and quite likely the last two medals as well.

UN Medals are not able to be verified.

The medals are mounted as found. With the poor dollar I will not be able to offer similar medals so cheaply again.
