Description
This heavy duty transport bag was used during WWII for the storage of bailey bridge pins and other parts. These bags would have been transported in vehicles to their destination, where combat engineers would carry and assist in assembling the bridge using pins from these bags. Carrying such large pins means that these bags had to be made from a quality, heavy duty canvas material.
Such a tough bag is fantastic for a variety of uses. Being WWII surplus makes this a nice addition to anyone's collection. The large rope handles and sturdy design makes it safe and easy to transport gear. This is a good bag for carrying tents, pegs and poles for anyone going camping. Making this a base for your survival kit or keeping it in the car for extra storage space, are also great uses for this bag.
Features:
- Strong canvas material
- Tough rope handles
- Adjustable tie off belt
Dimensions: 74cm H x 43cm W Weight: 1.4kg Colour: Olive Drab Condition: Used/Good
