At last they have arrived! Gun City has travelled all the way to Europe to bring German helmets to you, the passionate Kiwi collector.

There has never been a better time, except perhaps after the battle of Stalingrad, to pick up a WW2 style German helmet!!

This is the ultimate addition to any military collection and one of the most iconic helmets in the world

These are M55 helmets, made by German factories after World War 2, to supply the Finnish Army

Manufactured in the design of the M40 Nazi helmet - rolled edges and pressed ventilation holes, the same style as the bulk of those used in WW2

The helmets all have Finnish made leather liners & chin straps so they are complete and ready to wear.

We have TWO COLOURS available, Grey or Green. Just add $50 onto the price for a Green helmet, which we have less of.

There are three GRADES* OF HELMET to choose from:

Tidy - $399 - smooth surface with minor denting and good overall paint. Great for repainting if desired.
Moderate - $299 - fair paint with denting.
Weathered - $199 - Low paint coverage and denting, possibly some surface rust.


Helmets are of varying sizes, from 56 t0 60cm. Feel free to request a small, med, or large if you have a size preference and we will do our best to find a suitable size

*These are genuine German helmets that are over 50 years old, so there may be dings, scrapes and paint missing.
