An amazing archive of documents and photos to Colonel A R Currie, a WW2 DSO winner who later became Colonel Commandant of the Royal NZ Engineers as well as the Chief Engineer.

There are way too many items to describe however the lot includes many many newspaper clippings, State Opening of Parliament by QE2 docs, letters, card including from WW2 troopship, the inner of his WW2 paybook, an album of largely pre war engineering and private photos, a number of WW2 photos including the Western Desert, letters, a manuscript on the history of the NZ Engineers in WW1 and WW2, crossing the Equator certificate, school documents etc etc.

If you had his un-named medal group this would be the ideal provenance for them. Sadly I didnt get his DSO certificate - it just went too high.
