This listing is for FOUR photograph albums containing a large number of images both Real Photo Post Card (RPPC) and actual photographs taken by a New Zealand Army Nursing Sister who served throughout the Second World War and received the Royal Red Cross Medal for her work in 1948

The Nurse was RNZANS Sister Margaret Catherine MacRae RRC

The photographs cover MANY countries of the Middle East where she served at the various New Zealand Army Hospitals

Many of the photographs and postcards are of the Medical service life and times and depict their various departments

Lots of the photographs also show the local people that she met and many are of historical buildings and ruins

There are many areas in the albums where images are loose or missing and many lose images that have come adrift

I have tried to show the "more interesting" images as I cannot show ALL the images there are way too many and TM only allow 20 images

This Sister seems to have served EVERYWHERE in the Middle East (wherever NZ had Hospitals I would guess) as the captions will help to show

I purchased these at auction recently for several hundred dollars but will list them without a reserve and hope that they will prove of enough interest for me to see some profit for all the work it took to picture these
