German WW2 M39 Stick Grenade Handle , these were smoke grenades used to lay smoke screens, top part rusted together and handle dry and shrunk a bit at the other end where the base cap goes, overall in relic condition, still has the white paint strip around middle of the handle and the early style protruding grooves at the bottom, overall length 280mm. This was dug up at Stalingrad and is an interesting curio.
