John Rabone & Sons, Made in England 66ft No_251. Tape measure; The measure,has a fabric metallic wired tape, with inch and ft measurements. The tape is retractable manually, using a brass pull-out winding arm fixed in the centre of the back of the tape casing. The casing is tan coloured leather with stitching. In my opinion this is one great item and I am a little reluctant but also happy to let it go its very very nice and I Love how its been looked after in these many years of its exsitance. Would be great as part of a collection or in an antique cabinet or even in a museum as there is one very similar in the Owaka museum which is also 66ft and No_400 which if I understand correctly is not as old as this one or even as in great condition as this treasure is. So you have yourself a great opportunity to own something very special here.
