Description
Alpine Marmot (Marmota marmota) from Europe.
There are 15 species of Marmots, extending from Europe across to Asia and also North America. Effectively large squirrels, these cute guys eat plants at higher altitudes. A vintage mount, but good condition and certainly have never seen another on Trade Me before. Has a broken tooth, but not easily noticed.
I have changed the base for a smaller one.
Marmot: 410mm high. Overall including base: 470mm high x 360mm long x 290mm wide.
