This antique book is a real gem. An historic insight to the sanotorium days of the colonial past. A few un p.c remarks e.g. young Maori men have a great antipathy to work and referring to Hinemoa as the dark eyed damsel. Some great photo's including guide Sophia. This book is post Tarawera eruption which puts at around 100 years old, also some cool old ads for hotels in the area.
