A neat old very large Kauri pattern or mould used for making moulds for foundrys etc in making industry cogs, wheels, plates etc etc. Such a piece is great as a rustic display piece, for use in your foundry, or to sand down & do up and have as a great table piece or a chip bowl or fruit bowl etc. Let your imagination run wild. It would look so good all sanded back and oiled or polyurethaned etc. This piece has marks writing scrapes bangs chips etc, but basically it is fine for what it is. (you might take the very top layer off because of the chips on the top) You could cut out a base and screw/glue that to the bottom. Measures approx. 420mm across at the top (440mm at the base) x approx. 200mm high. Inside it is approx. 380mm wide. . Weighs approx. just under 4 kg.
