You may have walked/driven/bussed/biked/jogged­/crawled on this exact piece of Dominion Road.
This is a piece of history - a cross-section of Aucklands Dominion Road - mounted on a stylie black wooden stand - complete with a bit of white centre-line.
This would make a pretty good doorstop, size: 290 x 180 x 95mm 3.5kg

This is kindof from "half-way down Dominion Road" but actually nearer one end than the other - it had fallen beyond the safety barrier at a bunch of roadworks where a section of the original Dominion Road is disappearing and being replaced by a concrete motorway over-bridge. This is a piece of classic Dominion Road in its final, timeless, 2006 state of wear-&-tear. Its a cross section of history that could go back decades.

The proceeds of this auction will go to an Oxfam Trailwalker team - 4 of my mates are doing this 100km fundraising walk at Taupo in April - they have 36 hours to walk 100km to raise funds for Oxfam.
