Two Victorian silver plate dainty pieces, both engraved 'England' on bases.
These have always served together. A water cracker basket/trough and accompanying dish for a cheese ball, pate, or pickles.
Both are beautifully pierced, the dish finely embossed on its base. The basket fits round water crackers perfectly.

basket width.................. 7cms
height to handle............. 12cms
dish diameter..................16cms
Condition: both pieces in lovely condition, the silver plate unrubbed, consistent and dense.
Am reasonably happy with the photos, though reflection makes it difficult. They are nicer yet than the photos indicate. Unusual and very graceful on the dining table.
