Beautiful silver tea service.
Purchased for Queens visit to Dunedin in Spring 2001 (which was subsequently cancelled due to Sept 11)
5 piece set consists of Silver tray (45 cm x 32 cm and 1650 grams), coffee pot (18 cm and 950 grams), tea pot (12 cm and 850 grams), sugar bowl (10 cm and 500 grams) and milk jug (9 cm and 250 grams). All items have beautifully detailed scrolled imprinting. Very little tarnishing on silver.
Unsure of exact age of silver set, but stamp will reveal details. This tea-set would make a wonderful feature in any dining room and will appreciate in value in the future.
