Quilt Antique American 1890s Very Large Cutter

Plenty for craft or could mend. Gorgeous nineteenth century, lightweight very very soft cotton quilt. Strong colours with delightful dainty florals and bold geometrics. Approx. 300 pieces. Fine cotton cover and dainty flowers on back and cotton wadding. Gently faded; more so than pics show (not as bright).

This quilt was made in in the USA using traditional hand stitching; quilted 100's of times.

SIZE Large 260cm long x 180cm wide. 5-6 stitches to inch.

WASHING I have not washed it due to damage.

CONDITION Cutter. Darer red pieces have shredded; pictured. Few marks on front; but it is so busy in pattern it's not really noticeable till you are close up. Very good back.
