This is beautiful and reluctant to sell but just don't have the right space for it and too nice to sit in storage. Originally purchased in Afghanistan.

This rug is approx 50years old or more and is of Kazak tribal origin. These are becoming more and more rare as there is virtually no kilim industry left in Afghanistan.

Unusual pattern and lovely colours. Quite modern in design with stripes and spots. Approx 3.8m x 1.8 wide. In good condition for age, some of the tassels at end have frayed and some small discolouring/stains on main body but don't photograph.

True to an older piece it is not perfectly rectangular and one end slightly slimmer than other. Not really noticable once on the floor or wall.
