This easel is made from selected NZ Radiata Pine and finished in 2 coats of clear satin urethane. The height and tilt angle are both infinitely adjustable. This is an H Type Easel, derived from the 2 vertical parallel posts that provide the engineering to produce a rigid easel and support to both sides of the canvas A combination of the 2 locking stays and the sliding center board add to the easel's compactness

Max 3 metre elevation takes advantage of most NZ ceiling heights.

90 degree vertical plane of canvas, most important feature for a detailing artist

30 degree canvas tilt back and 10 degree forward tilt to eliminate glare

600 x 600mm rectangle base provides an economy of floor space

Canvas is firmly held between the ledger and the top block and can be raised and or lowered to any position

At the required position, tighten the 2 discs which are part of the spring loaded sliding bolt assembly to secure the canvas

Cam lock on the ledger is turned to hold the canvas firmly against the easel frame

Top block is rebated to fit 4.5 and 10mm boards

Extension foot on base to further stabilize easel if required

Kitsets

All kitsets are disassembled from assembled easels

The outline position of each overlaying piece, has been pencilled around to ensure correct alignment before final screwing

There are no loose screws. They are all screwed into the overlaying pieces

In some cases, adjoining pieces have been left joined together by 1 screw. The piece can then be swung over to it's correct position for screwing

They are simple and quick to assemble
