Our funky letterboxes are our own designs and 100% handmade in New Zealand. We provide a creative range of quality mailboxes for rural, residential and commercial use. We test all of our boxes against the elements. So if you are unsure about the durability of one of our letterboxes, please ask us.

Not only can they be used as a letterbox, but also as a plant box, a storage item in the garden or just as a piece of beautiful art.

They are made out of recycled gas bottles, metal and stainless steel. All letterboxes are first sandblasted and then painted with an undercoat. Finally the letterboxes get painted with high quality metallic paint to protect against all weather elements. Details, like eyes, mouth, noose… are applied with the same high quality paint.

This is New Zealand, so we can have four seasons in one day, that’s why we are prepared. We tried out best to make all letterboxes waterproof. We also attached an awning above the letter opening and the door to prevent rain coming in.

We have thought about everything,… You can lock your letterbox with a pad lock. Two holes are provided for the pad lock. Is it really necessary to lock our letterbox? Yes, You would be surprised at the increasing occurrence of mail theft. Credit cards, cash flow cards and cheque books are still routinely delivered by mail, along with smaller parcels. We wouldn’t leave these items in an unlocked car, but do leave them right next to the footpath, making easy pickings for the opportunist thief.

All letterboxes are provided with installation instructions.

Attaching your letterbox to the mounting pole is very easy, there is just one big bolt that goes into the bottom of your letterbox.
