The name of my carved piece is called KO PARE HAURAKI O NGATI PAAOA, this piece is a reference or narrative to the illustrious Maori chief Paaoa. Three seperate assignments are integrated into this carved piece which show cases the powerful people Ngati Paaoa of Hauraki, New Zealand.
