Sam Rerekura made this calendar showing the life of Kupe, the discoverer of Aotearoa. This history is built on the Maori tradition of old Tupuna and all the chiefs who first visited this country.

Although this edition can not be found today, I purchased the calendar in 2008 and enjoyed the English as well as the Te Reo pages that explain the magic of early Maoridom.

My father was born in Hokianga in 1900. He helped to build the early tracks of the Bryderwyn hills using picks and shovel. I am very proud of my heritage. Please click here to ask a question
