This is the field of sheep who have lived on Devonport Wharf in Auckland since the Rugby World Cup started. They were part of a knitted graffiti exhibition called the Woolly Walk Along which was curated by local yarn bomber Knitty Graffity.
These gorgeous sheep, who also go by the name of 'The grass is greener' were knitted by well know Kiwi crafter, Elizabeth Berge of Zippitydoodah (http://zippitydoodah-zipflowers.blogspot.com). They are beautifully knitted and would make a great conversation piece. The grass is gorgeously soft so perhaps you could make it into a cushion (or we could try and convince Elizabeth to do it for you!).

All proceeds from this auction and the other Woolly Walk Along items will go to Christchurch.
