Verity exhibits and works in London and has a degree in fine arts from Elam School of Fine Arts. She won the Pumphouse Art Award for painting in 2007 and the Molly Morpeth Best Drawing Award in 2001. She was a finalist in the Portage Ceramic Awards in 2001, 2005, and 2006.

Purchased from an exhibition in 1996 for a considerable sum! Picture dated 1993. Titled Ducks and measuring 37cm x 27cm.
