A neat, likely antique, original painting, of, what I have been told is by Amy Marsden and is said to be early 1900s pastel of trees and field bush etc in the Nelson area of New Zealand as per photo. (except that camera flash can change colours & shades etc and make things look brighter & better than they really are)

Have reduced price heaps to what you now see as we need the room, so it needs to find a new home to be loved in.

It is signed AM It is on card & is glassed. (I do not know the history of this so is sold as is, what ever or when ever it was done etc) Hopefully someone may know of the artist & time done etc. I am told it is pastel, & it does look like that. The frame looks retro, but not as old as what I am told the art work is, so probably has been reframed ? Frame is good, has odd little mark etc from time, but basically fine for what it is. It is glassed. Frame measures approx. 600mm x 440mm odd. The card around the painting has a few spots and marks from age, but again, all quite livable. What you can actually see of the original painting art work is approx. 460mm x 310mm. Has a few marks and light stains along one edge, but again, fine & livable I think. Great piece for those who collect such retro or antique work, or just if you like it.

Measurements are given, so please use them to compare to something else you own to give you a better idea of size. There's a number of photos, hopefully enough, to try & give a good indication of state & condition etc, and to help you decide its value & suitability to your use, whatever that may be. So PLEASE, use those photos to help you see & gauge its faults, condition and other things you may want to know. And if not sure, ask a question !!!!
