Born in Palmerston North, O'Sullivans Godfather was a Manawatu All Black. And furthermore Ian Hill who Married the Artists Sister Kathryn O'Sullivan (National Candidate Auckland central Circa 1980's) is a lifelong executive member at Piha Surf Lifesaving. The artists honours his family connections by the artwork he does. It is a dedicated lifelong commitment. So there you have it: an absolute Bona Fide New Zealand connection. No one else comes close.
