Up for sale is a lovely work by recognized, Late New Zealand Artist William Menzies Gibb (1859-1931), in a simple dated glass frame by the reputable H. Fisher & Son.

"Gibb was a Canterbury painter who specialised in pastoral scenes...[he] studied in Melbourne before returning to New Zealand as a professional artist. He also painted competent portraits, and his work was exhibited in New Zealand, Australia and England."
