Clearly signed in brown ink Cyril Whiteoak bottom right.
Watercolour 520 x 700mm tidy older frame. All new 4 ply mat in antique white. Work only is 350 x 550mm.
Provenance: Estate Cyril Whiteoak.

Cyril Whiteoak is an under-rated multi award winning artist and architectural draughtsman.
Born Yorkshire 1921 he won the "Freedom of City of London" for high achievement in the City and Guilds of London Institute Exams.
Migrated to NZ in the 50's and spent 30 years teaching and exhibiting with the Auckland Society of Arts.
Kelliher Art Award in 1965 and 1966 when competing against Douglas Badcock, AA Deans, Colin Wheeler, Robert Watson and Ian Scott among others. Also a National Bank of NZ Art Award Winner.
