Meaning of the Koru Design: The iconic symbol for many things “NewZealand” -The koru, which is often used in Maori art as a symbol of creation, is based on the shape of a baby unfurling fern frond opening and bringing newlife and purity. Its circular shape conveys the idea of perpetual movement, and its inward coil suggests a return to the point of origin. The koru therefore symbolises new beginnings, regrowth, moving forward & the way in which life both changes and stays the same.

Acrylic on High Grade Boxed/Stretched Canvas with 2 coats of Varnish for protection. Sides Painted & Ready to Hang.

I can add an inscription on the back of my painting for no extra charge (ie. best wishes, meaning of painting, personalized msg).
