These paintings work together or as individual pieces. They were part of a recent exhibition on life at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts Wellington. The theme is Momento Mori. The one with the Tui is momento Mori-Hope the other is Momento Mori-Indulgence.The colour is very rich. Like all my work there is a whimsical side as well as a story. I can include a more detailed explaination for the buyer. I have been working as an exhibiting artist for over twenty years since completing a B.F.A at Canterbury. I now show locally at Aratoi and in Wellington at the New Zealand Academy. Most of my other work is sold through commission. Please feel free to ask questions
