This Auction is for a very early 1940's 50's watercolour of the boarding house in Hamner that Douglas badcock boarded in.The painting is in very good condition with good bright colours.There is some foxing on the mount and it has a thin gold frame.The painting has never been removed from the frame,and it was framed by Kendall Nisbett Octagon Dunedin.A Rare early painting by this famous New Zealand artist. The painting measures 330mm x 250mm. ( Please note that the long shadows over the painting are from the camera)
