A neat retro print, perhaps antique ?? of St.Boniface Down" engraved by H.Winkles after a picture by T.Barber, published in Barber's ... Isle of Wight, 1834. Says at the bottom London Published by Simpkin & Marshall Stationers Court. Helpful watcher says "It is St Boniface Down, Ventnor, Isle of Wight" I take this to be a Steel engraved print. The art work looks good. Has a few brown spots, but its still not bad for its age. It is in a good retro wooden frame & is glassed. Looks quite neat for an old retro piece. Wooden frame has minor marks etc from time etc, but again, basically fine for what it is. Glass needs a clean. Frame measures approx. 290mm x 240mm odd, and what you can see of the actual print is approx. 170mm x 120mm, and the actual picture part is approx. 150mm x 90mm. Neat piece for someone. Thanks. 914 refN4159
