A quite Large & very retro or antique coloured print that is signed and dated 1879 of Cottages by River as per photo. It has a large quite heavy wooden frame. Now, I do not actually know if it is a print or original drawing, so I have settled on the lesser & listed it under prints, and selling as a print. It has been hand painted with white highlights, and you can see that they sit higher on the picture. Under magnification I can see no dots, but just may be an old old lithograph or a print before they used dots ?? I can not make out the signature, but someone may recognise it. I think it looks quite neat, very retro, and I think it is quite well done. It is signed, but I do not know what the signature actually reads. Perhaps someone may recognise the artist. The picture itself looks in good condition. It is glassed. The wooden frame has many marks, chips and scrapes etc from time. The frame measures approx 640mm x 545mm odd. Inside the wooden frame itself, at the front, it measures approx 485mm x 390mm odd. Then there is another frame (greyish) and that measures approx 465mm x 370mm odd. What is actually shown of the print is approx 420mm x 300mm. Hopefully there are enough photos for you to decide for yourself if it suits your needs or uses, whatever that may be. We allow pickups, but if you do not want to pickup, then we can send for you, on your behalf, at your risk.
