Christopher Aubrey (1830 - 1902) is known to have painted in the Otago and Southland areas of New Zealand in the 1870s, to have exhibited watercolours of Riverton and Stewart Island in 1879, and to have worked in Wellington in the 1890s and Auckland in 1898.
