One of three prints by the artist available, these works are typical of the artist's emotional, at times mocking, and almost always playful depictions of scenes from day to day life, in a style that deliberately echoes that of German expressionist printmakers in the early decades of the 20th Century.

In this work, two women wearing fox fur stoles engage in a lively chat, while their foxes lock dead eyes across the space between them.

This original and unframed print is in good condition.

These works of art are antiques and collectors items, the earliest created 21 years ago, while the oldest work in our exhibition is perhaps 200-220 years old. As is to be expected with artistic works on paper as old as these, many of the works show signs of their age. Any damage is described above and depicted in the photographs supplied, but buyers should bear in mind that these works are not in ‘mint’ condition. Nevertheless, in many cases the condition of the print forms part of the of the work, a witness to the piece’s age and history and a point that can potentially be emphasised by sympathetic framing to enhance the aesthetic experience presented by the work.
