Safe N Sound MaxiRider with AHR
This is an awesome car seat that was used in the Grand Parents car, so not used that often at all.
Fabric colour is Midnight Grey and is in as new condition. No fading or damage what so ever.
There is a small amount of colour rubbed off of the silver plastic surround of the harness adjustment button.
Can be used as a five point harness child seat, the AHR moves up to support the sides of your child’s head as he/she grows. Once your child has out grown the highest setting the harness then tucks away and you use the standard car seat belt to secure your child in the car seat.
The seat has a tether strap that connects behind the seat.
The AHR is Active Head Restraint, gives additional head support on the either side of your child’s head which is essential in the event of a side impact collision – it is also great for supporting your sleeping child’s head in a more upright position.
The AHR can easily be adjusted with the flick of a level on the back of the seat and moved up as your child grows.
The AHR also has a clip on the headrest that you place the seat belt in when your child has out grown the five point harness so it does not cut across your child’s throat.
The seat was purchased in 2009 it has a manufacture date of 19.5.2008 so the seat is certified for another 6 years. It has seldom been used and in great condition. It has never been in a collision, or hard braking situation.
