Beautiful wooden bassinet and wool mattress.

Bought off trade me about 5 years ago for our 2nd baby. As I recall it had been handmade by a member of the seller's family, has a lovely whitewash sort of effect.

Has a place for a doweling to hang a muslin but even though it was lovely we found it a bit of a pain!

The mattress I bought separately. Had some mold when a friend was storing it (never ended up using it) but she had it dry cleaned.

Does rock/swing but is quite stiff - we filed it away a bit to try to make it looser but still does not swing that freely, could perhaps be loosened more somehow.

If I would change anything it would be the solid base which not great for air flow. I would cut them up into slats.

But a beautiful bassinet, no longer needed as we are done with our babies now! :)
