Every child is different. Some newborns are so small and delicate when they are born that a soother in the size 1 may be too big. That is why NUK offers the NUK Genius Silicone Soother in the special size 0. It was developed together with medical experts and its size, shape and the nature of the material are perfect for satisfying the sucking reflex of particularly delicate newborns.

The baglet, in comparison to size 1, is overall somewhat smaller and therefore optimally adapted to the special proportions of the palate and jaw. Soft channels on both sides make the soother particularly soft and flexible and help reduce the risk of crooked teeth later. The NUK Genius, with its teat shape that is right for the jaw, is modelled on a mother’s nipple as she breastfeeds and gives your baby a natural sucking sensation.

The baglet is made of silicone, a synthetic material that is completely free from harmful substances and has a pleasantly smooth surface. This material is very soft, particularly heat-resistant and neutral in taste. Silicone is less flexible than latex and a silicone NUK Soother should be replaced once the first signs of use appear (e.g. scratches, bite marks or small holes).
