This auction is for a digital resource (PDF file) of my 2nd set of High Frequency Word Playdough Mats.

The HF/sight words in this pack (listed below*) are the words I encourage my new entrant students to master (in reading & writing!) as they are moving through their yellow-blue reading levels.

Play-dough mats make for a perfect tactile teaching tool and activity to help younger learners practice and develop correct letter formation, while working on beginning writing skills, letter and high frequency word (also known as ‘sight words’) identification.

With rolled out ‘play-dough snakes’ (as my kids like to call them), students use the indicators to form the letters correctly as they are learning to read and write these essential early words.

Once laminated, the mats can also be used for tracing with their fingers or whiteboard markers.

Each mat has a colorful border, and large letters that make up the focus high frequency or sight word. All letters have directional arrows to help teach or trigger correct letter formation.

All you need to do is print out the mats, laminate and you’re good to go!
