flat-very glossy-supple-bright cover-looks NM- at first glance but has two insersecting small folds/light creases-only just noticeable

Comic lots are sent in a bag with backing board ,placed in an envelope between two pieces of stiff card or cardboard to keep flat

-Near mint (NM)(9.4)
nearly perfect,slight blunting of corners allowed,almost no stress lines on spine

-Very fine/near mint (VF/NM)(9.0)
no creases allowed,minor accumulation of stress lines allowed if nearly imperceptable

-Very fine (VF)(8.0)
1/4 inch crease allowed,very slight staple tears allowed,a few insignificant stress lines present

-Fine (FN)(6.0)
above average copy,minor wear,minor creases present,blunted corners,few minor stress lines

-Very good (VG)(4.0)
the average used comic book,little cover gloss,moderate creasing,spine roll or 1 inch split

-Good (G)(2.0)
substantial wear,"reading copy only"
