Description
This is an auction for WILLIAM TREVOR: THE COLLECTED STORIES.
From Wikipedia:
"William Trevor, KBE (born 24 May 1928), is an Irish novelist, playwright and short story writer. One of the elder statesmen of the Irish literary world,[1] he is widely regarded as one of the greatest contemporary writers of short stories in the English language. He has won the Whitbread Prize three times and has been nominated five times for the Booker Prize, most recently for his novel Love and Summer (2009), which was also shortlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2011. His name has also been mentioned in relation to the Nobel Prize in Literature. Trevor worked as a sculptor after his graduation from Trinity College, supplementing his income by teaching. Those who cannot accept the reality of their lives create their own alternative worlds into which they retreat. He and his family moved to Devon in South West England, where he has resided ever since. In 2002, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom for services to literature..."
