Adami
By Hubert Damisch & Henry Martin

Over 50% of the book is full page colour and black & white reproductions of Valerio Adami work.

Valerio Adami through his incredible work with the image, based often on photographic documents, he captures and restructures in a rigorous formal style the myths and realities of the contemporary world. The complementary essays by Henry Martin and Hubert Damisch are followed by Adami's "Commentaries" personal remarks, and documents from his Laboratory in which the painter illuminates the origin of some of the paintings.

Adami has participated fully in the conception of this book, in the choice of illustrations and in the lay-out. He has made three original lithographs in colour especially for this work, which also includes a biography, a bibliography, and a list of exhibitions.
